Matt is one of the co-founders of Arbré Tech. He works on strategic leadership and the direction of the company. Matt also coordinates strategic planning within the team, on marketing initiatives, and is directly involved in the sales process. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Melody, Elsie, and Adelyn. He also likes most outdoor activities including, but not limited to, running, hunting, fishing, and golf.
Mike is Arbré Tech’s hardware engineer and resident Lean Six Sigma blackbelt. Over the years, he has worked in a variety of manufacturing settings and finds that the nursery industry requires certain steps to be taken before a process can be completed, just like manufacturing. Mike has described himself as a “nerdy, process-orientated ninja.” Outside of work, Mike, a life-long Wisconsin resident, enjoys working on his classic car and traveling with his wife.
Sean is a Senior Software Engineer who specializes in mobile application development. He graduated from UWSP in 1996 with a degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Mathematics. Sean has worked in a variety of developer roles in his career, ranging from Windows developer to a mobile application engineer. He is very excited to be joining the Arbré team and fashions himself as a naturalist with a love of trees and nature. In his spare time, Sean loves to spend time with his family and enjoys many outdoor activities such as careening off mountain sides with a board affixed to his feet and clinging to sand dunes as depicted in the picture.
Software Operations Manager
Josh is Arbre’s Software Operations Manager. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Art and Game Development. He’s worn a lot of different hats since then including inside sales, business analysis, and QA. In his free time, Josh likes to watch Wisconsin sports teams, participate in gaming, and go to his cabin up north. He lives in Roscoe, IL with his wife, Jaymee, his two sons Brayden and Owen, and thier Australian Shepherd, Bently.
User Experience Specialist
Ashley is excited to join Arbre as the user experience specialist. Her background in occupational therapy and ergonomics set the framework for her passion for human-centered design. Her goal is to harmonize the human-computer relationship to make people’s lives easier. Ashley lives in San Francisco and enjoys eating, traveling, and learning to roller skate in her free time.
René is new to the Arbre Tech sales team but not new to the industry. With a love for horticulture he enjoys supporting nurseries in maximizing their operations and in essence their productivity through RFID and strong inventory management. In his free time, René enjoys spending time with his family.
Sammie is an accounting extraordinaire! For Arbré Tech, she manages the books, processes payroll, and other odds and ends. Her favorite part of her work is seeing the look on clients’ faces when the weight of the world comes off their shoulders. In her free time, Sammie enjoys theater, swing and Latin dancing, karaoke, and always learning something new.
